After 7 weeks, Christmas, illnesses, holidays, deps, acoustic gigs and even one played with E-Pete, we are back together as a whole band at Qudos on the third Saturday of January and it was magnificent. The sound in the room was really something and so many compliments. Lovely to see so many faces and friends, old and new for the first gig of the year. We’re back baby.

On the very last day of January we were grateful to be asked to play as part of Salisbury Live’s “Let’s Give” Gigs 2026 at The Avon Brewery in Salisbury on behalf of the Salisbury Women’s Refuge. We were joined by Rachel Sinetta, Shannon Laura, and the Disco Divas. Rachel’s songs were beautiful, Shannon’s songs were huge and the Disco Divas bought the house down and left us to pick up the pieces. At first count the evening raised over £300. Great job everyone!

After 7 years away, Valentines day on 14 February, saw us pull together another Hootenanny! With an incredible 17 musicians on the night and over 30 songs, it was such a joy to see so many smiling faces! The guts it takes to get up on stage and play with people you’ve just met with zero rehearsal and just go for it cannot be measured. We raised over £315 for Salisbury Women’s Refuge by just having great fun. Overwhelming feedback from musicians and audience is ” this has got to be at least an annual thing” and we agree. No more global pandemics getting in the way thank you. Thanks again to everyone who came and hope to see you all soon. You can see all the photos from LJ Photography here.

To close our February we had a great night at the Royal British Legion in Salisbury Town Centre on 21 Feb. Brilliant to see so many familiar faces and see some new sights too. Genuinely great fun and some wonderful feedback from customers and venue staff alike. Thanks for having us!

In March we get to play at the Salisbury Music Awards. A great experience and one that is 13 years in the making. It’s great to the SMAs recognising Cover Bands so strongly in the nominations this year.

Next, some magic happened… Awards for 2025. Best Guitarist 3rd place: Simon; Best Drummer 2nd place: Pete; Best Bassist 2nd place; Dave; Best Vocalist 2nd place: Amber. Outstanding contribution to the Salisbury Music Scene: Simon & Terry. Best Cover Band Winner. Best Live Act Winner.

For us, as a group, to win Best Cover Band for the first time in 10 years is amazing. To win Best Live Act, for the first time, up against the whole of Salisbury’s gigging music scene is… truly astonishing. Congrats to Simon and Terry for winning their award too. These are voted for for by you, the public, and that makes all of these achievements all the more special. THANK YOU.
